Harold's Eye 03:31
I paused to light a cigarette, it was damp back from the trenches, It crackled with a pleasing warmth, Oh yeah it was great man hey! Disconnect the phones and disconnect the bones, I stared down in the distance, Thought I saw a man who said he knew the way Thought I saw a man who said he knew the way Was not the quality of investor Was not the quality of investor If I could not be so pestered, I would let that man’o fester I thought I saw my brother lying down upon the ground, And clutched inside his hand was a piece of paper oh so brown And what was in his eyes I cannot tell you..... Looking around I had the feeling, something came on over me, I looked down there and give it a try, its worth it Harold give it a try. Please tell me to get away, Harold pull the arrow out of your eye, Telecommunication man shot down in another van, Telecommunication man shot down yet another man...... I paused to light a cigarette, it was damp back from the trenches, It crackled with a pleasing warmth, Oh yeah it was great man hey! Generals laugh and men grow old and stories still remain untold Generals laugh and men grow old and stories still remain untold This is not the quality, the quality of investor If I could not be so pestered, I would let that man’o fester Newbreed man, newbreed man, take me by the phone and take me down the road Sold down the river for a sixties fiver, sold down the river for a sixties fiver I cannot believe this guy, Harold pull the arrow out of your eye and try

about

Crumplehorns' 2013 debut single.

"(Crumplehorns) strike a claim for being the best British indie band since The Wedding Present.......From the opening synth whine to the closing ba ba ba’s, for less than two and a half minutes it stops you in your tracks like only your favourite songs can, sounding incredibly familiar but never dull. B-side ‘Harold’s Eye’ doesn’t have quite the same effect, but any song that rocks comfortably for a while before inserting an obnoxious, Beefheart-like saxophone solo is ok in my book."
